Bio

Diana West is the founder and president of Capital Briefings, LLC, which
creates Issue Briefs on legislative topics and provides consulting services.

Prior to starting her own venture, Ms. West worked for Atlantic Media
Company for eight years, the first five as the Website Evangelist for
NationalJournal.com, the last three as Manager of Growth Efforts and
Congressional Liaison for different sections of the company. For all three
jobs, West performed the company's primary outreach to its users by
providing information and training on the website, gathering feedback on
user preferences, and contributing to the development and launch of new
products for the company. As a result, West has a solid understanding of
the information needs of those who work on the Hill, in the agencies,
associations, law firms, and non-profit organizations that make up the
greater government community in Washington and beyond.

Before entering the world of political publishing, Ms. West worked in
non-profit education, teaching high school students for the Close Up
Foundation, teaching English in Czechoslovakia as an Education for Democracy volunteer, and working as a historical interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg.

For a complete CV, see www.linkedin.com/in/dianawest.

Ms. West holds a master's degree in Government from The College of William and Mary and a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Wellesley College.

Please note that this Diana West is definitely not the Diana West who writes for The Washington Times. :-)
